"Jurassic World" is a science fiction adventure film released in 2015, directed by Colin Trevorrow. It serves as a sequel and soft reboot to the original "Jurassic Park" film series created by Steven Spielberg. The movie is set 22 years after the events of the original "Jurassic Park" and takes place on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where a fully functioning dinosaur theme park called Jurassic World has been established.

The story follows two main characters: Claire Dearing (played by Bryce Dallas Howard), the park's operations manager, and Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt), a Velociraptor trainer. Claire's nephews, Zach and Gray, come to visit the park. However, when a genetically engineered dinosaur called the Indominus rex escapes its enclosure due to its heightened intelligence and abilities, chaos ensues.

As the Indominus rex wreaks havoc across the park, Claire and Owen team up to locate her nephews who are stranded in the restricted zone. The movie explores the ethical and moral implications of genetically engineering dinosaurs for entertainment, as well as the potential dangers of playing with nature. The film also pays homage to the original "Jurassic Park" while introducing new twists and technological advancements in the world of genetic manipulation.

Throughout the movie, there are thrilling action sequences, moments of tension, and emotional connections between the characters. The climax involves a battle between the Indominus rex and a group of Velociraptors that Owen has trained. The film concludes with the surviving characters realizing the importance of respecting the power of nature and the need for responsible scientific advancements.

"Jurassic World" revitalized the franchise and was a commercial success, leading to sequels like "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" (2018) and "Jurassic World: Dominion" (upcoming, as of my last knowledge update in September 2021).
