Thor: Love and Thunder is a 2022 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to 2017's Thor: Ragnarok and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, alongside Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Jaimie Alexander.

In the film, Thor has embarked on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced -- a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement is interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher (Bale), a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Portman), who inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.

The film also explores Thor's relationship with Jane and his journey to find inner peace. Thor has always been a bit of a loner, but Jane's return and his newfound role as a mentor to her force him to confront his own issues and grow as a person.

Thor: Love and Thunder is a visually stunning and action-packed film that also has a lot of heart. It is a fun and heartwarming story about love, loss, and redemption.
